Ingredients (घटक द्रव्य) and preparation

मञ्जिष्ठाकुष्ठतगर त्रिफलशर्करावचा | द्वे निशो मधुकं मेदा दीप्यक: कटुरोहिणी ||

पयस्याहिन्गुकाकोली वाजिगन्धाशतावरी | (अ.स.उ. 39/81)

Manjishtha, kushtha, tagara, triphala, Sharkara (sugar), vacha, both the nishas, madhuka, meda, dipyaka, katurohini, payasya, hingu, kakoli, wajigandha and shatawari each pestled one karsha (48 gm) are made, Ghruta ( ghee) 1 prastha and milk 4 prashta should be mixed together and cooked.

Uses (उपयोग)

  • Beneficial in all types of योनिदोष and शुक्रदोष
  • This increase longevity(आयुष्य), nourishing(मेद्य), very beneficial(धान्य), pumsavana.
  • The women using it during menstruation conceive, it is also worshipped by the women whose children die repeatedly as well as by normal pregnant women.
  • रजोदोष, परिस्राव, अस्थीर गर्भ etc.
